The Ultimate Remote Control
Advanced Remote Management Options
Centurion Control Center (CCC) offers advanced remote management over all Centurion clients being used in your environment. When using CCC in conjunction with your Centurion client protection (CornerStone, MacShield Universal, etc.), you will immediately add simplicity by streamlining many processes already occurring in your environment.
CCC can be used to Remotely Manage Centurion's Client Protection tasks (enable, disable, locking keyboard and mouse, block USB flashdrives, etc.), but you can also schedule other helpful tasks such as shutdowns, wake-ups, updates and more! By automating these common daily technical support needs , you will ensure a secure and productive computing environment for your organization.
CCC Set-up options:
Centurion's CCC is flexible offering a few set-up options to meet your needs.
1. Centralized CCC Management – Point a few, hundreds or thousands of Centurion protected computers to one CCC.
a. Advantages:
i. One order number
ii. One central location for management
iii. Ability to break the clients/computers further into groups within one CCC
iv. Schedules of tasks can apply to all clients or groups (i.e. automate shutdowns, daily wake-ups, updates, etc.)
v. Convenience and security - Any person needing to manage clients can do so by simply downloading another CCC on their machine and connecting to the main CCC (this feature is set and enabled in ‘Connections' – you will not have to use 3 rd party software or ‘open-up' a server for them to manage.
2. Decentralized CCC Computer Management – Use as many CCC consoles as you need (per lab, per school, per tech, etc.). You simply point the clients/computers to the corresponding CCC via IP or Name (TCP/IP connection).
a.Advantages:
i. If your environment uses multiple techs to manage different areas, you can use multiple CCC consoles to manage corresponding computers. Each tech can manage their own.
ii. Central Management can still connect (‘see and/or manage') computers on any other CCC being used (this feature is set and enabled in ‘Connections' – you will not have to use 3 rd party software or ‘open-up' a server for them to manage).
*Centurion's connections are simple TCP/IP connections. If you allow access on your network (ports, subnets, etc.) then we can manage the computer. Centurion clients also report to the CCC. This contributes to a stable connection and will not cause additional traffic on your network.
